Pokkén Tournament Championship Series 2018
Join the best Pokkén Tournament DX players in the world by competing in the 2018 Championship Series. Win your invite to the World Championships!
The Pokémon Sheffield Regional Championships, organized by Play-The-Championships.eu, will be hosting the European stop of the Pokkén Tournament Championship Series.
Your tournament will be held as a double-elimination event. There will be two age divisions: Masters players (born in 2002 or earlier) and Senior players (born in 2003 or later). The Sheffield event will be qualifying four Masters and two Senior players (pending changes, see the official tournament page for last-minute information).
Competitors will be required to provide a HORI wired controller Pokkén Tournament DX in the Championship Series. No Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers will be permitted, even with a USB cable.
The Main Event will be held on Sunday at 11:00 AM (registration will close at 10:30 AM), and qualifiers determining your bracket seed will be held on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
Tickets include (€40 for Masters & €25 for Seniors)
If you did participate in two main events at Sheffield Regional Championships 2018 (TCG & VG, TCG & Pokkén or VG & Pokkén), you get a €10,00 voucher that can be used to either play side events or exchange it for store credit with one of the vendors present in de venue (Magic Madhouse and Harlequins)
The better you score in these Double Elimination Try-Outs, the better your seed will be for the Main Event! In addition to that we will add 50 Prize Tix to the prize pool for each player that joins.

What is a Player ID?
Each player is assigned a Play! Pokémon Identification Number (Player ID) that is used to track that player's tournament play. Players must have this number with them whenever they attend a Play! Pokémon event. You can get a Player ID online if you already have a Pokémon Trainer Club account.
I don't have a Player ID, how can I get one?

Where is Lost and Found?
The Lost & Found service will be located at the Prize Wall & Info Point. If you lose something at the event, please go to the Info Point near the main entrance, and inform the event staff. If your lost item has not yet been found, you will be asked to complete a form so that we can identify your goods once handed in.
How can I check if my online registration is confirmed?
We will post a list of players who register online so you can check if your information is correct. (Name, Date of birth, playerID, Game, Division)
I registered but cannot attend. Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, as stated in our terms and conditions, we do not offer refunds. If you have a questions about this, feel free to send us an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
Am I allowed to trade, sell or advertise in the venue?
Although trading is both allowed and encouraged, please note that the following things are not permitted at this event: Buying/selling cards with anyone except for our authorized dealers. Advertising without receiving permission from the on-site Event Manager. Offering to alter cards in exchange for some form of compensation. Utilizing an excessive amount of space.
I forgot my Player ID. Where can I find it?
If you have already received a Player ID through your Pokémon Trainer Club account, or have linked an ID that you received at a previous event to your account, you can log in to pokemon.com and look up your Player ID in your personal profile.
I'm under 14 years old can i participate to the event?
Yes, we certainly allow the participation to14 years old and under. Note that venue regulation stipulates under 14's should be accompanied by an adult whilst in the venue.
