Marketing Lead

As Marketing Lead, you will lead the marketing team and spearhead corporate and customer communication efforts, crafting compelling narratives and engaging campaigns. You'll build and maintain relationships with publishers, brands, and customers, while also conceptualising and executing event promotions aligned with company goals. By leveraging diverse channels and analytics tools, you'll ensure effective communication strategies and foster a vibrant community around our brand and events.

YOUR ROLE

Corporate Communication

  • Build and maintain strong relationships by bringing our story to publishers, brands, and event organisers.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Create clear and persuasive corporate messages for various media platforms (website, social media, newsletters, press releases, etc.)

Customer Communication

  • Craft, execute, and assess marketing campaigns for our events, tournaments and e-commerce sales.
  • Engage with customers via diverse channels, responding to queries, and offering comprehensive information about our products and services.
  • Use analytics tools to gauge customer engagement and feedback, adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Nurture an enthusiastic and engaged customer community through Discord, social media, email campaigns, live streams and live events.
  • Foster a sense of belonging among community members by recognizing their contributions and promoting interaction within the community.

Event Promotion

  • Conceptualise, organise, and carry out promotional activities for our events, tournaments and other activities.
  • Collaborate closely with the events team to ensure all marketing materials line up with event themes and targets.
  • Track event success metrics and adapt promotions based on data-driven insights.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing and implementing communication plans aligned with company objectives, while coordinating with the content creation team for coherent messaging.
  • Creating compelling corporate messages for various media platforms in collaboration with graphic designers and content creators.
  • Developing, executing, and assessing marketing campaigns for events, tournaments, and e-commerce sales.
  • Serving as the primary liaison between customers and our community manager to address queries and provide comprehensive information about our products and services.
  • Using analytical tools to measure customer engagement and adjust strategies based on feedback.
  • Working alongside the community manager to nurture a robust and engaged customer community.
  • Cooperating with the community manager to recognise individual contributions within the community and promote interaction.
  • Conceptualizing, organizing, and carrying out promotional activities for events and tournaments, leveraging the skills of the graphic designer and content creators.
  • Collaborating with the events team to ensure marketing materials align with event themes.
  • Tracking event success metrics and adapting promotions based on insights.
  • Keeping updated with trends in digital marketing and the gaming industry, sharing relevant insights with the team.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail, ensuring efficient coordination amongst team members.
  • Ensuring all marketing and communications efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation.
  • Preparing reports to track progress across all marketing initiatives, including web, advertising, social media, and creative projects, and sharing these insights with the team.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related fields.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • You have experience in a comparable role.
  • Strong project management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple projects at once.
  • Proficient at digital marketing including SEO/SEM, market segmentation, data analysis, and email marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of or interest in the gaming industry, trading card games, or esports is highly beneficial.
  • You’re a problem solver and have a hands-on mentality.
  • You work very structured and know how to keep the overview of things.
  • Hard deadlines motivate you, and you can perform under pressure.
  • You’re good at identifying priorities, meeting deadlines, and multitasking
  • You’re good with people and a team player
  • You breathe quality and have an eye for detail.
  • You’re driven and self-motivated to always strive for the best possible experience for all parties involved.
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, Adobe Creative Cloud … is a plus.
